Thousands of chicks arrive dead to farmers amid USPS turmoil

At least 4,800 chicks were shipped to Maine farmers through the U.S. Postal Service and arrived dead in recent weeks after cuts hit the mail carrier's operations, Maine Rep. Chellie Pingree said.
