Bali volcano erupts: Thousands of tourists stranded as ash closes airport

The Indonesian tourist island of Bali closed its international airport on Friday, stranding thousands of travellers, as the Mount Agung volcano gushed an 8,200-feet column of ash and smoke. The National Disaster Mitigation Agency said nearly 450 flights were cancelled, affecting some 75,000 people. The regional Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre in Darwin, Australia, said winds would carry the ash southwest toward Java, Indonesia’s most densely populated island. Volcanic ash is a potentially deadly threat to aircraft that can cause engines to "flame out." The volcano began belching ash and smoke on Thursday and several airlines cancelled inbound and outbound flights scheduled for the evening. "We hadn’t a place to stay for the night so we had to find something else, just took a taxi and stayed at a random hostel," said a stranded German backpacker who identified herself as Louisa. "We hoped we could leave this morning, but the airport is closed," she said. Mount Agung - Bali Two small airports, at Banyuwangi and Jember in eastern Java, also closed because of the ash threat. Agung’s alert level has not been raised and an exclusion zone around the crater remains at 2.5 miles. The disaster agency said the closure of Bali’s airport was in effect until 7 pm.  Australia’s national airline Qantas said in a statement that it’s "currently not safe" to operate Bali flights. Australian visitor Rod Bird came early to the airport only to be told his flight back to Perth had been cancelled for the second time. "They told us the volcano is going off so they rebooked us for this morning and we got here at 5:00 am only to be turned away again. So we've had two cancelled flights," Bird told AFP. "Well it's Bali, these things happen and we are fine with it. We just miss the kids," he added. کسی بھی شخص کی بائیوپک، سوانح حیات یا آتما کتھا بنائی جائے تو اس کے مرکزی کردار کو ہمیشہ ہی اس شخصیت کے قریب ترین دکھایا جاتا ہے تب ہی ناظر مرکزی کردار میں اس شخص کی زندگی سے محظوظ ہوتا ہے۔ سنجو میں بالی ووڈ اداکار سنجے دت کا مرکزی کردار رنبیر کپور نے ادا کیا ہے اور کیا ہی خوب ادا کیا ہے۔ پوری فلم میں آپ کو رنبیر کپور کہیں نظر نہیں آئے گا، ہر جگہ سنجے دت ہی دکھائی دے گا۔ رنبیرکپور نے خود کو اس کردار میں اس حد تک ڈھال لیا کہ فلم کا ٹریلر ریلیز ہوتے ہی سپر ڈوپر ہٹ ہوگیا اور سوشل میڈیا پر ہیش ٹیگ سنجو ٹاپ ٹرینڈ بن گیا۔ 29 جون کو جیسے ہی فلم ریلیز ہوئی تو حقیقی طور پر بھارت میں کھڑکی توڑ رش رہا۔

فلم کی ہدایات راج کمار ہیرانی نے دیں ہیں۔ ہمیشہ کی طرح راج کمار ہیرانی نے اس بار بھی بہترین کام کیا اور فلم بینوں کو شروع سے لے کر آخری سین تک بیزار نہیں ہونے دیا۔ اب تک تھری ایڈیٹس، پی کے اور منا بھائی ایم بی بی ایس راج کمار ہیرانی کی پہچان تھیں لیکن اب یہ سہرا سنجو کے سر سجے گا۔ خود راج کمار ہیرانی نے کہا کہ انہوں نے فلم سنجو بنانے کا ارادہ 2014 میں تب کیا تھا جب سنجے دت پیرول پر جیل سے چھوٹ کر آئے اور انہوں نے راجو بابا سے اپنے دکھ بانٹے، جس پر انہوں نے کہا کہ سنجے دت کی زندگی میں فلموں سے زیادہ ڈرامہ ہے اور اسی سے متاثر ہو کر میں نے فلم بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

فلم میں سنجے دت کے والد کا کردار پریش راول نے ادا کیا اور کمال کر دیا، منیشا کوئرالا نے سنجے دت کی ماں نرگس کا کردار نبھایا جو بہت خوب ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ سونم کپور، دیا مرزا، انوشکا شرما، بومن ایرانی اور وکی کوشل نے بھی اہم کردار ادا کئے ہیں۔ فلم کے تمام اداکاروں نے اپنا بہترین کام کیا ہے لیکن اداکار رنبیر کپور نے ان  سب کو پیچھے چھوڑ دیا ہے بلکہ اگر یوں کہا جائے کہ یہ رنبیر کپور کی اب تک کی سب سے بہترین پرفارمنس تھی تو بالکل بھی غلط نہیں ہوگا۔ فلم سنجو یقیناً رنبیرکپور کا بطور اداکار دوسرا جنم ثابت ہوگی۔

فلم میں سنجو بابا کے بعد سب سے اہم کردار وکی کوشل یعنی سنجے دت کے بہترین دوست کملیش نے ادا کیا ہے۔ وکی کوشل ایکشن ڈائریکٹر شامل کوشل کے بیٹے ہیں۔ انہوں نے فلم مسان میں ہی ثابت کردیا تھا کہ وہ بہترین اداکار ہیں لیکن سنجو میں انہوں نے ایسی جاندار اداکاری کی ہے کہ رنبیر کپور کے بعد اگر کسی کو ایوارڈز ملیں گے تو وہ وکی کوشل ہی ہوں گے۔

فلم میں زیادہ فوکس اس بات پر کیا گیا ہے کہ سنجو یعنی سنجے دت نے منشیات کا استعمال کب، کیوں اور کیسے کیا؟ فلم میں دکھایا گیا ہے کہ سنجے دت نے بہت چھوٹی سی عمر میں سگریٹ پینا شروع کر دی تھی اور اس کے ساتھ ہی وہ مختلف منشیات کی لت میں بھی پڑ گئے تھے۔ خود سنجے دت فلم میں کہتے ہیں کہ میں ایک بیوڑہ ہوں، ٹھرکی ہوں، منشیات کا عادی ہوں لیکن ٹیرررسٹ نہیں ہوں۔ ٹھرکی سے یاد آیا کہ فلم میں ایک کمزوری تھی اور وہ یہ کہ اس میں سنجے دت کی زندگی سے متعلقہ کئی اہم افراد کو پیش نہیں کیا گیا جن میں ان کی اہلیہ اور گرل فرینڈز شامل ہیں۔ سنجے دت کی زندگی میں کئی لڑکیاں آئیں جن کے ساتھ ان کے مختلف نوعیت کے تعلقات رہے۔ فلم میں خود سنجو بابا انٹرویو دیتے ہوئے کہتے ہیں کہ میرے 308 لڑکیوں سے تعلقات تھے، وہ بھی طوائفوں کو نکال کر۔

فلم سنجو میں سنجے دت کی زندگی کے پانچ مختلف ادوار دکھائے گئے ہیں۔ انہی میں سے ایک کھل نائیک کے ساتھ پیش آنے والا سب سے بڑا واقعہ یعنی اے کے 56 رائفل رکھنے کا کیس بھی شامل ہے جس پر منا بھائی کو نہ صرف جیل ہوئی بلکہ انہیں دہشت گرد بھی قرار دیا گیا۔ اسی کی بنیاد پر ان کے انڈر ورلڈ سے تعلقات کا بھی خدشہ ظاہر کیا گیا تھا۔ فلم میں ممبئی حملوں کا بھی ذکر ہے اور بابری مسجد کا بھی۔ دہشت گردی کا الزام لگنے کے بعد سنجو بابا اور سنیل دت پر کیا گزری، فلم میں یہ بڑی تفصیل سے دکھایا گیا ہے۔ کئی جگہ ایسے لگتا ہے جیسے بھرپور کوشش کی جا رہی ہے کہ سنجو بابا کے سر سے دہشت گرد کا داغ بالکل دھو دیا جائے۔

ایک سین میں سنجے دت نشے کے زیرِ اثر سوئے ہوئے دکھائی دیتے ہیں۔ جاگنے پر ان کے والد انہیں بتاتے ہیں کہ وہ دو دن سے سو رہے ہیں جبکہ جہاں تک مجھے یاد پڑتا ہے سنجے دت نے ایک انٹرویو میں کہا تھا کہ ایک دن میں ڈرگ کرنے کے بعد سویا، جب اٹھا تو میرے سامنے میرا نوکر کھڑا تھا۔ میں نے کہا کچھ کھانے کو دو۔ بہت بھوک لگی ہے تو نوکر نے کہا کہ صاحب آپ کو سوئے ہوئے دو دن ہوگئے ہیں، بھوک تو لگے گی ہی۔ اس واقعے کے بعد میں نے علاج کرانے کا ارادہ کرلیا۔ میں نے بابا سے کہا کہ میرا علاج کرائیں ورنہ میں مرجائوں گا۔

فلم سنجو میں سنجے دت کے جیل میں گزرے سخت ایام کی بھی منظر کشی کی گئی ہے۔ جیل میں انہوں نے کن تلخ تجربات کا سامنا کیا اور ان کی زندگی میں کتنے اتار چڑھائو آئے اور کیسے انہوں نے ان تلخیوں کا سامنا کیا، یہ دیکھ کر آنکھیں نم ہو جاتی ہیں۔

فلم دیکھ کر اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ سنجے دت کی زندگی کسی فلم یا ڈرامے سے کم نہیں رہی۔ سنجو میں لمبے بالوں والے سنجے دت سے لیکر کرتا پہنے سفید داڑھی والے سنجے دت تک کا حلیہ شامل ہے۔ رنبیر کپور نے ہر دور کے سنجے دت کے کردار کو بھرپور نبھایا ہے۔ رنبیر نے نہ صرف سنجے دت کے حلیہ کو کاپی کیا ہے بلکہ انہوں نے سنجے دت کا غصہ، پیار اور مسکراہٹ سب کو بہترین انداز میں سکرین پر پیش کیا جس پر وہ یقیناً داد و تحسین کے حقدار ہیں۔ خبروں کے مطابق سنجے دت کی چال ڈھال سیکھنے کیلئے رنبیر کپور نے میمکری آرٹسٹ سنکیت بھوسلے سے ٹریننگ لی تھی لیکن فلم میں آپ کو کہیں بھی میمکری نظر ہی نہیں آئے گی۔ اگر کچھ نظر آئے گا تو بس سنجے دت یا پھر چاکلیٹی ہیرو رنبیر کپور۔

رنبیر کپور اور سنجے دت کے علاوہ اس فلم میں دیکھنے کو اور بھی بہت کچھ ہے جو سنجو بابا کی ذاتی زندگی سے پردہ اٹھائے گا۔ فلم میں کئی ایسے مناظر ہیں جہاں ہنسی رکے نہیں رکتی اور اور کئی مناظر ایسے ہیں جہاں آنسو نہیں تھمتے۔ فلم میں ٹریجڈی بھی ہے، دکھ بھی ہے، اوٹ پٹانگ حرکتیں بھی ہیں اور تمام اداکاروں کی بہترین ادکاری بھی لیکن یہ سب دیکھنے کیلئے آپ کو فلم دیکھنی پڑے گی۔ کیوں کہ یہ ایک کھل نائیک کی کہانی ہے۔ ایک بلاگ میں کہاں سمجھ آئے گی؟

کامیابی اور بابے

ہمارے اخبارات کے ہفتہ وار تو کیا اتوار وار بلکہ ہر وار کے ایڈیشن میں ایک عرصہ گزرا بہت سے عامل کامل بابوں کا اشتہار دیکھنے میں آتا ہے، بابے تو عامل یا کامل ہونگے ہی ان کا اشتہار واقعی آ، مِل کی دعوت دے رہا ہوتا ہے اور ہمارے اخبار کہتے ہیں کہ کام، مِل گیا ہے،

یہ اشتہار بھی پڑھنے والی چیز ہوتے ہیں، اخبار کے ایک صفحے پر عامل بابا کی تصویر ہوتی ہے جو ہاتھوں کو بڑے عجیب اندازسے کئے ہوتے ہیں، اگر کسی اشتہار میں عامل کامل کی تصویر نہ ہو تو دو ہڈیوں کا کراس بنا دیا جاتا ہے غالباً پہلی شناخت بابوں کی وہی تھی یا تصویر پر تھی،

یہ بابے بھی بہت سے علوم کے ماہر ہوتے ہیں، ان میں سے اکثر تو علوم کی کاٹ کے ماہر ہوتے ہیں، غالباً یہ پیپر کٹر ہوتے ہیں علوم کی کتابیں کاٹتے کاٹتے یہ علوم کی کاٹ کے ماہر ہو جاتے ہیں،

تقریباً تمام بابے کالے علم کے ماہر ہونے کے دعویدار ہوتے ہیں، ہمارے خیال میں تو علم کا کوئی رنگ نہیں ہوتا انہی بابوں نے اسے کالا علم بنا دیا ہے شائد ان کے انجام کی وجہ ہے کہ جو بہت سیاہ ہوتا ہے، ایک بچے نے ہم سے سوال بھی کیا تھا کہ انکل اگر یہ علم کالا ہے تو یہ رات کو نظر بھی نہ آتا ہوگا ویسے ان بابوں کو دن کو بھی علم نظر نہیں آتا، کبھی کبھار ان بابوں میں مقابلہ بھی ہوتا ہے، یہ پچیس تیس لاکھ کا انعام رکھ دیتے ہیں، کام ہونے کی گارنٹی کے ساتھ اشتہار دیاجاتا ہے، اور کام یہ ایسے ہی کرتے ہیں کہ کسی پیر عامل بابا کا کوئی (گاہک) ماننے والا ان کے پاس گیا کہ میری فلاں عورت سے شادی ہو جائے،بابے نے آڑی ترچھی لکیریں لگائیں اور معمول سے کہا کہ یہ نقش اُس عورت کی ’ران‘ کے ساتھ باندھ دینا، شادی تمہارے ساتھ ہو جائے گی،

معمول کو غصہ آگیا، کہ اگر تعویز وہاں باندھا جا سکتا تو پھر تمہارے پاس آنے کی ضرورت ہی کیا تھی،

ایک اور خوبی جو تقریباً تما م بابوں میں مشترک ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ ان بابوں نے دنیا کے مشہور ممالک کا دورہ کیا ہوتاہے اور جس شہر میں جاتے ہیں وہاں یہی کہتے ہیں کہ فلاں بابے کا کینیڈا ‘ امریکہ کا کامیاب دورہ ہو گیا، واللہ علم یہ کس سلسلے کی کامیابی کا ذکر ہوتا ہے، ہمارے صدر صاحب تو بجا طور پر کہہ سکتے ہیں ایک ارب ڈالر کے قرضے معاف ہو جائیں گے‘ تو دورہ کامیاب مگر یہ بابے کیونکر کامیاب دورہ کرتے ہیں یہ اُنہی کو پتہ ہوتا ہے،

ان تمام باتوں نے پیش گوئیاں بھی کی ہوتی ہیں، ان کی پیش گوئی کی مثال ملاحظہ فرمائیں، پاک بھارت جنگ کا خطرہ، کشمیر کی کنٹرول لائن پر جھڑپ ہو سکتی ہے، امریکہ دہشت گردی کے خلاف منظم کام کرے گا، اس سال عیدالفطر رمضان کے بعد ہوگی، وغیرہ یا یوں کہ جاپان پاکستان کو ہنڈا موٹر سائیکل دے گا، یہ پیش گوئیاں کافی عرصہ سے کی گئی ہوتی ہیں جو آجکل سچ ثابت ہوتی ہیں، بنگال کے جادو گرکی سری لنکا سے واپسی،

ہماری ان بابوں سے درخواست ہے کہ اپنے ملک کی خدمت کریں، کشمیر کا مسئلہ حل کروا دیں یا نہیں تو پاکستان کے قرضے ہی معاف کروادیں، کچھ سیاست کے بھی عامل کامل بابے ہیں، جو جوڑ کے ماہر اور حکومت مخالف تحریک سے حال ہی میں واپس آئے ہیں اور دوبارہ اسی کام میں لگ جاتے ہیں، گزرے زمانے کے کچھ ایسے بابے بابائے جمہوریت نوابزادہ نصراللہ خان، پیر پگاڑہ، قاضی حسین احمد وغیرہ، اردو کا بابا مولوی عبدلحق ہے اور انگریزوں کا باپ بے شک نہ ہو بابا شیکسپئیر ہی ہے، آج کل ویسے بابے تو ناپید ہیں البتہ بابوں اور بی بیوں کو ماننے والے بہت سے پیدا ہو گئے ہیں اور ان کے کہنے پر ہر الٹا سیدھا کام کر رہے ہیں کہ شائد وزیر اعظم بن ہی جائیں۔
